Real Deal!
Good deal on a Mac 217. This I'm sure is authentic. The plastic sleeve had the info for Mac Cosmetics. Brush is very soft as I would imagine it to be. This is my first Mac brush so I have no other to compare. I did look on line at comparisons of fakes and this one seems real to me. The "Mac 217" is stamped correctly. The handle is black with tiny sparkles and a non inked "Japan" stamp on the bottom end. It's a good price, a few $$ less than the Mac site with free shipping. Can't beat that.

Love this brush
I don't have many brushes to compare to the MAC 217 brush but this thing blends like a dream. It's soft on my eye and easy to work with. I highly recommend it!
