This TRA5830 Chassis Conversion Kit Low Center of Gravity Slash 2WD by Traxxas includes the chassis with the lower-front chassis part, as well as two nerf bars, a battery hold-down, front and rear battery retainers, and two front shock springs. It is compatible with the scales 1:6, 1:10, 1:16, and 1:50. It is very light, weighing 0.83 lbs, and the low-CG makes it very stable.Product Identifiers

LCG Traxxas Slash 2WD Chassis
We recently purchased this frame for a hand built Slash 2WD SCT project. Assembly was easy, and fast. Fitment was exact on all aspects. We did also purchase the blue lower chassis front support to replace the black, and RPM nerf bars in blue. It has now shed a small amount of weight, and the center of gravity it so so so much better. This modification provides much better traction and stability, especially In a track style environment. Do keep in mind when using this style frame, they the vehicle will no longer utilize the two lower (usually black) skid plates/ ladder frame-axel supports. We purchased green supports, but found that the new frame design did not fit with these new parts also. I would STRONGLY recommend this product to anyone with a slash that usually or ocassionally runs a track or freestyle setting. I'm not positive, but pretty sure this can also be used with the rustler and bandit. I've been wanting to see if it fits the stampede, just to know, but this would also obviously change the overall characteristics of the "monster truck" fashion. We would purchase this again if needed. Very good product, and a fair price point. Along with A+ service, it was a very good buy!

The difference this kit makes is night and day. Handling was greatly improved and rollovers are much less of a problem. I didn't need anything special to do the swap and it came with all the extra hardware needed. Improve Slash handling
