Each movie is on its own DVD and includes a special section featuring deleted scenes. The DVDs also give the viewer a bonus in form of great music and interviews featuring the production crew and actors. This Sherwood Pictures Triple Play set also includes closed captioning, and each feature film is about two hours long. Shopping for these films gives you a chance to have a family night because they are Christian-based dramas ideal for kids. They involve characters who portray incredible courage and resolve. Fireproof and Facing the Giants are rated PG, while Flywheel is unrated. Fireproof is a classic movie based on three main life themes. The video focuses on the value of marriage, being sincere, and having faith in God. Caleb Holt, a firefighter, is the star in the film and is married to Catherine. The couple is at a point in their marriage where a divorce is almost inevitable. This happens because Holt is always out on duty, he saved his money to purchase a fishing boat, and he refuses to assist Catherine's disabled mother. Holt's father intervenes by giving his son a 40-day challenge to fix the relationship. During the challenge, Holt has to show love to Catherine. He has to cook for her and avoid uttering anything negative to his wife. At the beginning of the movie, Holt and Catherine are cynical of the high power, but they later come to realize that they need it to save their marriage. Facing the Giants, featuring Alex Kendrick and Shannen Fields, tells the story of a high school football coach, Grant Taylor. The coach believes in the Bible and turns to God whenever something seems to be against him. Taylor manages to influence his team about the role of faith while playing and while outside the field as well. Flywheel is written by Stephen Kendrick and includes stars like Rosetta Armstrong, Blake Bailey, and Roger Breland. The movie features a salesman for used cars, Jay Austin. He is a trickster who cons his customers and even his church pastor. From his fraudulent businesses, he is able to make huge profits. Despite being successful, Austin's life does not go well because his wife and son disrespect him. It is while fixing a convertible that Austin realizes he has to become a believer. However, he has to struggle to fit in Christianity, to be honest, to keep selling cars, and to avoid going bankrupt. The film has ironic episodes and a good sense of humor. The movie’s director successfully makes it both entertaining and ministering. Based on teachings from Christian books, the three DVDs are a good guide towards leading morally upright lives. Marriages are often faced by hurdles that may even tempt couples to cut their relationship. Marriage can be saved by believing in a higher power and cultivating back the lost love. These Sherwood films are a great reminder of the things in life that are truly most important.Product Identifiers
