Seal leaks and seizes pump eventually.
Not much choice out there for this style of pump so I replace with the same one when they fail. Cheaply made non repairable and of poor quality material, should cost about $20. Only gets used to pump fresh water to the sink on my boat and is always fully submerged. The seal is of poor quality and wears out which then rusts the motor which then locks solid. way over priced.
