The AKG D 2300 S Handheld Dynamic Mic has a uniform hypercardioid pattern that resists feedback with boosted mids and highs for crisp instrumental reproduction and improved speech intelligibility. High-energy neodymium iron-boron magnet provides exceptional sensitivity (2mV/Pa). Inner pop filter can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Doubleflex shockmounting in the mic capsule assembly places primary resonance of the moving system well below the audible range, resulting in excellent isolation of handling and cable-induced noises. High End Features at a Budget Price
If you are short on money and want amazing sound quality and control than don't hesitate to purchase this microphone. You wont be dissapointed at all. This microphone has all of the high end features that most name brand companies sell for much more money. This is a budge priced mic with amazing sound and added sound control. You cant go wrong with AKG brand products and this mic is absolutely no exception to how great their mics, all across the price ranges are. For a price of around $20-40, you cant beat it for a Vocal and multipurpose microphone. You can get a knock off, poorly constructed microphone for around this price range, but why waste the money on something that's inferior to a reputable company that has great mics? I own a Shure Beta 87A (Supercardioid Condenser Mic), and all of the features of that microphone are inside of this AKG and costs 90% less than the Beta 87A. Yes, the Beta 87A is a Condenser Mic but in a side by side comparison, for everyday use, the AKG Dynamic Hypercardioid 2300S Mic was right up there with the sound quality. You wont be sorry and think, its only around $20. Take a chance, but I know that you will be very please with this mic and saved a lot of money, heck you could buy a bunch of these and still be under the price of a single mic with similar features.
