Weighing 9.4 ounces and with length and width specifications of 2.11 inches by 7 inches, this microphone has sturdy construction and feels solid in your hands. The overall specs for this professional studio microphone include a dynamic, reference neodymium cartridge magnet, unidirectional cardioid directional pattern, a frequency response of 50 to 12,000 hertz, a sensitivity of -76 decibels to 3 decibels, and an impedance of 250 ohms. Designed with all-metal construction, zinc die-cast casing, and a steel mesh windscreen with an anti-dent ring, you can use this Nady dynamic mic for even your rowdier drum performances without fear of damage to the microphone. A neodymium mic element cuts through high-level sound pressure so that your guitar or vocal sound isn’t compromised on the speakers whether you have heavy bass, live guitar, or a drum solo playing. The neodymium element is responsible for giving you the loudest audio output without feedback or distortion. An aluminum voice coil with humbucking and the lack of a transformer provides a pro audio sound without feedback or distortion over wide vocal ranges. The Nady SP-4C dynamic handheld microphone utilizes off-axis rejection with a tight cardioid polar pattern on the microphone head that gives you good gain before feedback. A multi-axis rubber shockmount helps this handheld Nady mic absorb noise, reducing the amount of noise distortion the audience hears during a live performance or recorded performance, including video or audio recorded using headphones. An on/off switch on the front of the mic makes it easy to control the power directly from the stage. The Nady SP-4C works with a variety of audio gear including headphones, condenser mics, mixers and speakers, mixers and amplifiers, or a preamp mic, and no software is needed for this microphone. The Nady dynamic SP-4C works well as a handheld dynamic microphone or can be mounted with a mic clip to a standard microphone stand when projecting instrument sound. Although it isn’t a wireless microphone system, it comes with a 15-foot cable that provides plenty of movement when playing live and won’t be caught up in other audio gear. The provided XLR cable can convert to a 1/4-inch cable with phone plug for use with mixers and amps. VERY SURPRISED
I was surprised to say the least......If it has long lasting stability...you cannot beat it for a stage mic. I have some pretty nice rigs and only wanted to get this to replace the capsule with one I have...But this actually does a better job than what I was going to replace it with. Forget about your Pyles and Audio 2000's....this mic will hold its own against AKG. .Shure 58...Shs mics...Sennheiser...It is that good....I don't use the 1/4 cords that come with them.I use cannon ...this Mic is a BIG surprise....does not pop when you hook up on a hot cable..the switch is really silent...I am impressed..going to try it a few times and if it does good on dependability I will be buying more to add to my 60 plus mics...Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
