Not worth it
Save your money and buy a different powered USB hub. First, the build quality felt pretty cheap, which for the price, was more or less expected but that was already a bad sign. The cord for the AC adapter was shorter than I expected, which was kind of disappointing but manageable. When I tried connecting it to my laptop it would be inconsistent by only sometimes being recognized by my laptop. I tried connecting it the each usb port but it would only really work with one of them. If you just want a USB hub for connecting multiple USB drives to your computer, I guess it's okay. However, don't expect it to work with external hard drives. There are much better powered USB hubs out there for not much more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The seller advertises it as a single product, but it's actually two: a simple USB 3.0 hub that can be used with or without a power supply, plus a completely separate power supply. I bought it because I have an old computer whose USB ports don't supply enough power to run a hard drive. Also would be a handy thing to have in your laptop bag for when you run out of ports, cuz it works in a limited way even if there are no AC plugs available.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not for hard Drives
Be aware - the packaging specifies that it is for Thumb Drives, keyboards, mice, cameras, scanner and cameras but Hard drives are not listed. My unit will not support portable hard drives, either WD or Samsung but then the packaging doesn't say it will. Windshield Suction Mount for TomTom One GPS Unit
This unit looks and feels OEM. The ball-socket interface for this unit fits tightly but allows for rotation. The suction mount attached to the windshield perfectly and stayed attached over an 80 mile test run over different road conditions. Once the GPS unit attaches firmly into the ring mount with a positive snap, it stays on. I do remove the suction mount and store it indoors, during the winter, to prevent a permanent set in the suction cup. I think that's what happened to my old one. Downgrades USB 3 divices to USB 2 throughput - Order two of these, the first one died within a week - limbing by on the second one till my Anker USB 3 hub arrives. Save yourself the headacke and order an Anker of other high quility hub.

Power output is unacceptable
