When a BST-1 Bass Shaker is installed on a resonant surface, it increases the portion of tactile sound as being "felt" beyond what is normally produced by subwoofers and ordinary speakers. Mounting the Bass Shaker to chairs or couches that are not fixed to the floor will provide the greatest effects.

If you're looking for the next level
I have a full Dolby Atmos 7.4 .4 with a hundred and six inch screen and leather recliners you could call that immersive. At first when I saw these I wasn't sure if they would be too much or not enough to add the next level. After trying the Dayton bst-1 I knew I had found the next level of feel. As described above it is a 7.4 .4 so I'm not lacking any base but this is going to give you a feel unlike a subwoofer. When I go into my theater I don't view it as just watching a movie I do it as an experience. I truly feel some of the greatest movies are meant to be experienced not just seen so for me this gets me that much closer to the full experience. I did find mounting Ali was a bit of a challenge as I wanted them under my seat with the bass facing up towards the underside of the seat. I built a board to mount these on but found that I had to customize the board and cut out a slight bit of the backing of the chair because the chair is an electronic recliner. The clearance between the base of the chair and the seat bottom combined with the crossbars from the under frame mounting of the seat presented an interesting challenge.

Try this before you invest in Haptics!
If you happen to be an Arcade1uper or a Virtual pinballer/atgames Legends pinballer looking to get the feel of the game without going to M.I.T. to install haptic solenoids etc, give this a whirl first. I paired this with a Lvpin 838 Amp and WOW! It is by far the most bang for the buck you'll find out there for increasing your gaming experience!
