A Real Gem
I love Lennox Portable dvd players.. This is the 2nd one I have purchased... I bought this for the bigger screen & will use the older model as a dedicated audio player... I love the simplicity of the controls and that Lennox is a region free player & one of the main reasons I love this brand. The sound and picture is greatly improved & can be refined & altered through the setup feature.. Greatly improved design from the earlier model. I like the simple controls and the portability and of course this 15.4 inch screen is a real bonus. I am completely satisfied with the item and the price is fantastic. They won't last forever, but at the price, they're worth it.
I've owned five of these over the years. Their biggest fault is that the disc drive usually ends up y becoming so noisy it sounds like a mini pneumatic drill, though one or two just ended up freezing up and refusing to play anything. But this was usually after a LOT of work and many hundreds of hours. The image quality isn't terrific, and the sound is pretty thin, but there's nothing else out there even close at that size and at that price point. I'll buy another one when this latest one eventually croaks. At this price it's faults are forgivable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
