ssb lithium motorrcucle battery light weight ..great power
The most obvious feature when it arrives is the weight..less than 1/3 the original battery. This is great for bikes that carry their battery high in the frame , you CAN notice the difference. The great thing about this is it is suited to big v twins and triumph triples using Sagem ecu's. A half hearted attempt to start these with closed throttle when cold means they can break sprag clutches... with 290 cca now that's way less of a possibility. For riders in colder climates you can wake up this battery by turning your lights on for about 30 seconds before starting..this gets the battery up to full cranking power, which is totally the opposite to normal batteries. Finally this battery can be recharged with a normal type battery charger unlike other lithiums that require a dedicated charger. Light Weight and High Power - Having been constantly disappointed by the short battery cycle life of Lead Acid batteries, this is the first Lithium battery I have tried in any of my my motorcycles, and I am nothing short of impressed. Very light weight, the small size makes installation easy, and with a 290 CCA the engine in my T100 Bonneville leaps into action on a cold morning start. Yamaha T-max battery change.
These batteries are very light and have plenty of power. A good replacement for a heavyweight lead battery on motorbikes. I this instance, the spacers in the box were all the same size. Mercedes CLS250D Shooting Brake Auxiliary Battery
I can recommend this particular battery as a replacement for the original AGM Battery that fits as an Auxiliary Battery in the Mercedes CLS250D Shooting Brake 2016 Model. It is a slightly higher capacity at 20 amp/h and charging system copes fine. So, if you are getting the Auxiliary Battery Malfunction Message & things like Stop Start, Intelligent High Beam etc not working then it's most likely the Auxiliary Battery gone bad. I am amazed! I had never had anything to do with lithium bike or car batteries before. I received this and thought "surely this cant be right" ? Its too light to be a battery. Well its half the size of my old lead acid battery and a fifth the weight. Put it in the old girl and touched the starter button and boom! She roared into life. Now ill be able to go faster :) less weight i have to carry ( Just kidding) Seriously though I cant imagine going back to the old style lead acid or even AGM batteries now.
