Ell this is my fourth defender case from otter box. Though I like them a lot. This one seems to be flaud. The front clear part that covers the screen behaves as if there is air trapped between it and the touch screen making it difficult to use the touchscreen without applying some pressure. So much so I am afraid I may crack or shatter my screen. Just may have to order another. Get what you pay for. We're bound to get unlucky and end up with an otter box defender case that was defective. It is too bad it had to be one for my galaxy note 4. The best phone that I've ever possesed. USELESS, CONTROL BUTTONS DO NOT WORK BECAUSE MATERIAL IS ROCK HARD.
Outer material is very hard, the side buttons need to be pushed very hard to click. I bought the same item from the Otter-box website two years ago and it's pliable and requires very little pressure to click the side buttons. Maybe it's a bad factory run.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent! protection for your cellphone, no what type! It is strong, durable and dependable.
I'm not new to Otterbox. I use it on ALL my cellphones for the best protection. It is perfect just as I expected. I would not use anything else. It makes me feel comfortable when holding my cellphone, like I'm really holding something in my hand rather than something too light and flimsy. Previous model kept phone in like new condition for 4 years.
Needed a new Defender because note 4 is bigger. The old one worked well my wife children and grand children ALL replace their phones during the same period, some went through several. My Samsung Note3 looks like I just bought it. If you want to protect your phone, this is the the way. Hope the new Defender will do the same thing again. A beast
A very rugged case if you don't mind the size. The Samsung Note is a large phone to start with, add the dual layers, and corner bumpers and you have a HUGE phone. I bought it for the protection, not the style and I'm learning to live with the size. Great quality for the price
The items are very well made and a great price for a case and a holster... The case fits snuggly and perfectly and the holster does as well. UGLY BUT PRACTICAL, VERY UNSTYLISH
Not stylish or cool looking, but provides THE BEST protection for a phone, which is why I got it. To tell the real truth, it's pretty ugly. Otterbox makes no decent colors so I just settled for black. All the otterbox colors are ugly and different in person than they look on the website. I don't understand why they make such ugly colors, and so few colors as well. I tried getting colored otterbox cases and was extremely disappointed with the difference between the website colors and the actual colors. Can't beat the protection from Otterbox
What can you say about otterbox defender's...the case is the best. I have had a few different cases and recommend the otterbox cases for anyone that wants the ultimate in protection for their phone or tablet. I work in a retail environment and often toss my phone on the floor to demonstrate how tuff the cases are.
