This lens maintains the excellent Fujifilm standard. Highly recommended.
The general performance of this lens is what I have come to expect from Fujifilm and although some of the lenses in the XF range seem expensive you certainly get your value for money. I researched this lens and watched countless youtube videos with the main complaint being that the "lens feels plasticy" so, because I understand the strength and shock absorbing qualities of modern polycarbonates, this does not concern me at all. I am thankful that modern technology allows a lens with this range and performance to be light and easy to handle as I carry my gear for long periods capturing wildlife and a bit of landscape. Having a background in mechanical engineering gives me an insight into well constructed and durable products. Image quality and AF performance are up to Fujifilm/Fujinon excellent standards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
