I love Batman. I've loved these games since Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight is the final chapter (from what I've heard) and is a very fun and fulfilling game. The storyline is compelling, the side missions are fun (albeit somewhat repetitive), and the challenges keep you playing.
The one negative about this game is the Season Pass concept, where you have to pay more money in order to get extra content. Could you play the game without the content? Sure. But there is some really cool stuff in that Season Pass so I got it anyway.
Graphics are mediocre but the problem is the batmobile. I got maybe 20 minutes into the game and shut it off. The batmobile is not fun at all. It drives like an elephant on ice and you have to be stationary to use any of the weapons.
The game is a bomb. Save your money for something else.
This game was a fitting conclusion to the batman: Arkham series as well as a great stand alone game (Can play without having to play the others first). The batmoble was used for 50% of the game, safe to say that it was just slightly overused. Fun and engaging for batman fans and open world gamers. Great value now that it has been out for a while.
I'm not really into Batman but I bought this for my husband. He loves the whole Arkham series very impressed with the graphics and the game play the game just goes on and on you can play it forever is always some kind of side mission and something extra to do. He recommends this to all Batman lovers. Make sure you get the whole series though to get the complete story
Everything about the game was great except all the orange chickens with there leather vests and fanny packs. Who do they think they are Miles Davis? Peacock bananas and marshmallow rain coats. Good luck Batman hope you still subscribe to golfers digest.
This is my second copy (my first was on PS4), I bought the Xbox One version just to play the game all over again.
If you are familiar with the Arkham games, then you'll be glad to know the same ol' gameplay is polished to perfection with quite a few new bells and whistles (no spoilers here sorry) and the graphics looks amazing. Plenty of action and story to go around. Only down side is the batmobile missions as this fun side quest starts to become a chore. Highly recommended for any Batman fan, Comic book buff, and action/ adventure gamer in my book 9.5 stars out of 10
This game brings you into batman like never before! You experience every aspect of being Batman from driving the Batmobile, to fighting crime to facing many of his rivals. The cinematics and graphics are beautiful on Xbox One, and the game leaves you wanting more. This is suitable for all ages and is highly recommended for all types of gamers. Do not pass this up it is an instant classic! If you liked Arkham asylum and Arkham City, Arkham Knight is beats those ten-fold!
Looking forward to more games from Rocksteady, truly a work of art
As a Batman fan, I can say many good things about him but at this time after having played whole Arkham series I can say this is the best for me, playing it in XBOX SERIES X is the way, graphics looks amazing and game play is very good.
The story is well written in this installment of the arkham series. Graphics are definitely polished. I love the addition of the batmobile although a lot of the challenges are definitely challenging for me at least. Almost controller throwing in some of them. The one I purchased from ebay had a 1/4" scratch in it and it didn't worry me, but when it arrived it was deeper than a scratch and it was almost like it was under the surface of the disc. But so far it has had no issues. Very fun game.
