Great for some, but not for everyone...
I really liked the movie, but my wife found it slow and boring. It has a laid-back pace, with subtle humor (definitely not the currently popular in-your-face or vulgar humor, nor was it slap-stick). Think of it more like Andy of Mayberry humor, or a very toned down Hee Haw. I'm not a listener of the PBS A Prairie Home Companion, but I believe this is pretty much a video version of that style humor, especially since Garrison Keillor is the star. Almost the entire movie was set inside a theater building, onstage and backstage. There really was not much of a plot, nor much action, but as I said, I did like it as a feel-good movie.
