NotesThe Redhead Express would like to give a big "thank you" to Paul Worley for his support and encouragement. Thanks for believing in us and helping to bring out our best! You have been so gracious with your time, your referrals and in giving us a leg up in Nashville. We would also like to thank Renee Grant-Williams for the amazing vocal training! Lead Vocals: Kendra Walker, Alisa on How do you Bury a Memory and California's Leavin' Harmonies: Kendra Walker, LaRae Walker, Alisa Walker, Meghan Walker Drums: Greg Morrow Electric Guitar: Jason Roller • Bass: Glenn Worf • Fiddle/Acoustic Guitar/Mandolin/Ganjo: Andy Leftwich • Banjo and 3 Finger Guitar: LaRae Walker Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Bart Busch at Station West Studios Nashville TN *Love Comes Knockin' Produced by Victoria Shaw **How Do You Bury a Memory Produced by Ray Barnette • Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Mark Hornsby at Jave Jive Studios Joelton TN • Bass- Dave Martin • Drums- Tommy Wells • Electric Guitar- Jerry Kimbrough • Fiddle/Mandolin- Hank Singer • Banjo/Acoustic Guitar-Wanda Vick CALIFORNIA'S LEAVIN': Writers: Dee Briggs, Livy Jean, Kendra Walker Publishers: Songscape Music/SESAC, Robin Taylor-Drake/SESAC, Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI Writer's Notes: The fun thing about writing is you can get together with someone older than you, someone younger than you, write about a boy from California, with a girl from Canada, a guy from Tennessee and me, from Alaska. This song is about a summer vacation love that went the way of most teenage love stories. LOVE COMES KNOCKIN': Writers: Victoria Shaw, Kendra Walker Publishers: Do Write Music/SESAC, Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI Writer's Notes: A song asking that question that so many teens and young adults have....How will I know when love comes around? HOW DO YOU BURY A MEMORY: Writers: Kendra Walker, Brett Walker Publishers: Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI, Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI Writer's Notes: This song was one of my first songs. I had partially completed it and we were about to sing at the Jam Session in Joelton, Tennessee. We finished this song in the back of the store by the fishing section, practiced it once through and sang it 10 minutes later. FORGOTTEN HOW TO FALL: Writers: Kendra Walker, Ryan Roberts Publishers: Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI, J. Adair Publishing/SOCAN Writer's Notes: We played a bluegrass festival in Illinois where Ryan Roberts also played with the band Special Consensus. Since he and I both write, we did some jamming and swapped songs. I played him a piece of a song I had started...just part of a verse and chorus at the time...and we ended up staying up til 4:30 in the morning finishing it! The song was Forgotten How to Fall. TOO SMALL FOR THE HURT: Writers: Kendra Walker, LaRae Kathleen Smith, Alisa Walker, Meghan Walker Publishers: Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI Writer's Notes: We like to call this our "sassy girl song". We actually wrote this in an hour or two during a practice session one evening. We'd been working on songs for the studio and got a little sidetracked. I started playing a little blues riff on the guitar, someone threw out some lyrics and we put this song together. SOMEWHERE WHERE THE ROAD DON'T MOVE: Writers: Brian Henningsen, Aaron Henningsen, Clara Henningsen, Kendra Walker, Brett Walker Publishers: EMI Publishing/BMI, Sound Mountain Publishing LLC/BMI Writer's Notes: This song really rings true with me, since we're always on the road. I think a lot of people can relate though; military, truckers and anyone else that travels for work. After a while, you just long to get to somewhere where the road isn't moving. STAR SPANGLED BANNER: Writers: Francis Scott Key.
