NotesOn LIVE, Jeff and the band present great new renditions of songs associated with Jeff's career as well as some new songs, including their presentation of classics like 'So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star' (The Byrds), Townes Van Zandt's 'To Live Is to Fly,' and Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Lookin' Out My Back Door.' Also included is a new track by songwriter friend, John Goodwin, called 'Exception to the Rule.'
The CD is great! Had just recently discovered Jeff Bridges is a very good singer, especially western songs & was happy to find the CD's of his.
Have told my whole immediate family about them!
Bridges at his best with a wide-ranging set of live music. It goes from bouncy and fun to moody and dark.
I just like Jeff Bridges. I like his voice and his unassuming demeanor. He is genuinely grateful for applause and tips his hat to the songwriters. What's not to like?
