This CD features the critically acclaimed musical "West Side Story" performed by the Original Broadway Cast. The CD comes in a cardboard sleeve and is in mint condition. It was recorded in 1957 at Columbia’s 30th Street Studio in NYC and was later remastered using 20-bit technology to maximize sound quality. The musical opened on September 26th, 1957, at the Winter Garden Theatre and ran for 732 performances. It later reopened on April 27th, 1960, for an additional 249 performances. The CD also includes the Symphonic Dances which were recorded in 1961 at Manhattan Center in NYC. This CD is from my private collection and is still sealed.
