All the threads are of a different size to the original axel assembly and as the bolts are not supplied I needed to determine the the new size bolts and source them separately.
The bolt diameters are metric the same diameter but the thread pitch is different.
This axel used metric fine threads where the original uses metric course threads.
This axel design really needs a way to apply grease to the bearings.
What I should have done is just bought the bearings and the seals and replaced them. I thought replacing the axel assembly would be easier but it’s not.
The code on the bearing on my original axel is 6006RS
The seals are 30mm Id x 55mm od by 8mm thick.
