Soft rubber screen shade
It securely attaches to the tripod mount with a screw and you can take the shade itself off without detaching the mounting surface. Its is mounted on a rail and can be adjusted in all six directions, so I wouldn't worry for compatibility if you can fit your screen/useful part of in diameter of the sun shade. Besides shading I bought this as a stabilizer for telephoto lens on a camera that doesn't have a viewfinder (Pentax Q7) but in this role it doesn't really function since the material is too soft to put pressure on with your eyebrow. On the other hand this makes the eyepiece foldable, which leaves the camera somewhat compact. Other disadvantage is that the shading is somewhat reduced when shooting in portrait orientation since the eyecup fits your eye only in the landscape orientation.

Ensure your focus point is always accurate.
Excellent way to closely check the focussing on the camera. I like how you can collapse the viewfinder when you are using the camera's viewfinder. Appears to be well constructed and built to last. Would be helpful if the bottom mounting bracket was shaped to use in a standard tripod quick mount system.
