  • UPS Alarm OFF, Double Battery, USB Power, Great All-Rounder

The software is easy to use, the alarm can be silenced (it does beep when you turn it on and off manually), it has two batteries in the 1200VA but they aren't standard but a cyberpower compact form factor. It has USB power port which is 1Amp and I believe is protected by battery. Design is good, it is good quality, has saved me once already. The inverter can give a mild hiss while running on batteries, but you rarely are running on batteries. It smooths voltages to protect your hardware. 4 Battery protected plugs, 4 just surge protection, but you wouldn't want more than 4 things running on battery, just things crucial to a proper shutdown process. It is a pretty heavy thing, they all are. Doesn't get too hot, maybe a bit warm when charging up, ontop where the CyberPower logo is, must be where the transformer is situated. All in all good unit, my first UPS though. The e-mail alerts are good, and customization of the auto shutdown features via the USB connection to PC.

  • So far, a great UPS that does what I need.

Love the LCD display that shows voltage in/out, load, running time, etc. I purchased the 1200VA/720W unit which gives me around 30 minutes of backup power, as well as surge protection. So far seems to work very well. Has 4 surge protected power points, and 4 surge and battery protected power points.

  • I've bought 2 of these units now. I've had the first unit for 3 years and it's performed faultlessly. Good product and good service.

  • 4 surge protected with 4 surge plus battery protection

Has 4 x surge protection only which will work fine without turning on UPS. While the other 4 are surge and battery when UPS is on. Easy and simple.

  • Misleading

The advertisement indicated an 8 outlet ups. There are only 4 outlets of the 8 that are ups. It is in the fine print of the specs that the correct number of ups outlets is found.
