The Boondock Saints is an action comedy movie that follows the lives of two young brothers who are vigilantes who work in the name of justice. Pursued by the enigmatic Paul Smecker (played by Willem Dafoe), the two brothers (played by Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus) team up with their friend to rid the city of Boston of its evil criminals. With the police breathing down their neck and a city full of corrupt people, the two brothers challenge fate and the justice system in this action thriller. As Irish fraternal twins, the two brothers keep to tradition through prayer and the placement of coins on their dead victims.     Saints Forever

    It amazes me what great movies these are. Cult classics. I will see people with tattoos and can tell they are BDS fans. Amazing I had never heard of them for so long, and also amazing how long ago they came out. But if you are looking for movies with "re-watchability," these two fit the bill.

    Has To Be One Of The Worst Movies I Have Ever Seen.

    The only reason I bought this movie was because I was given the second movie. That was even worse than the first movie I am rating now. How the 2nd movie could be worse than the first is ..... it just is..... This movie is just awful. I saw that this was one of the 10 worst movies from 2000 - 2010 and I can see why. How these 2 butchers can just walk up the aisle of their Church on March 17 sit and pray, kiss the feet of who we never saw and just walk out of church is insane. They did light up their cigarettes with identical motions may have been the best part of the movie. At least they could speak in about 7 different came from practice growing up. The meat packing part was worthless. They should have added the whole deleted scene and added it to the full movie. How and why they become Angels is just so crazy. The FBI agent was a total fruit cake and going into one of his own mini trances didn't need to be added anywhere. Falling down into a hotel room with the untied onto anything rope held them up long enough to get the bad guys. The funny man had 1 joke. I want a Coke! The shoot out in the basement then out front was completely unbelievable. Everybody carries ammonia around RIGHT? It was 6 guys with 1 gun each or was it one guy with 6 guns? How their da got out of jail and why added to the mystery. That mystery was never explained. How can anybody walk into a courthouse and throw their guns over the metal detector and walk into an active courtroom??? At least we know Grand Ma makes great red sauce. That was just about it. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. .

    Despite the profanity in this movie, the action is first rate and extremely engaging. There is never a dull moment. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus have an amazing talent to speak with a thick Irish accent, which makes it difficult to catch what they are saying at times.
