3 hole putting green
Love the smaller holes to hone in your putting skills. Felt mat quality is very good , lays flat, and putts true. The green has a shortcoming that can be addressed by adding a barrier behind the green. The elevated area by the holes is good for maintaining putting speed and you can read a little break into the putt by shooting at an angle. The elevated foam area under the holes and traps is very shallow and if you put a little too fast the ball will not drop into the hold/hazzard and roll off the back of the green. I just rolled up a few towels and shaped them around the back of the green and problem solved.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks good, but looks can be deceiving
I bought the putting mat as a gift. I chose this because the green has the 3 holes instead of just 1. However, the picture, in my opinion, is misleading. It looks as though the holes and the area behind the holes have some sort of material in them - like a plastic cup the ball would go into. In actuality, the holes are just cutouts and the cutouts do not have much depth at all so the ball easily runs out of it. In addition, the photo makes the incline before the holes look like it is more than it is. The incline is very minimal. In my opinion the incline should be slightly steeper (a little more incline) - which would make the hole area thicker and perhaps the ball would not roll out as easy. Great winter indoor putting practice surface
Excellent product. You just open the box roll it out on the floor and it sits flat and is ready to go. The surface is excellent and lays perfectly flat. It's best use is working on putts in the 3-6 foot range. The only suggestion I have is the "middle cup" would be more useful for me if it were even with the left and right "cups" and not recessed to the back of the putting green. Not a big deal. Only, and very small, detail is the bottom of the holes that you need to put something beneath the mat because ball jumps up if the floor is to hard. The putting green brings fun to your living room with simple, pure, and unhurried play. It simulates the green very well. The balls need some force to roll to their target, and the green lets them roll true, which is good and bad. If your shot is accurate, they drop just like a day at the real green. The balls with also behave with annoying authenticity if a shot is off the mark. Of course, you need your own balls and putter, but the green provides a great means of practice and hours of fun and satisfaction when the balls roll into the circles. The only recommendation is to use the box to build a barrier behind the green because nothing is there to catch a put of exuberance.
