Fantastic bow motor bracket
This bracket is sturdy and well built. I was debating whether to go with the composite type of bracket but glad I decided on this one instead. It provides for a more safe locking mechanism because the lock (purchased separately) is bolted through both plates made of metal. The cover allows for smooth edges. I saw this installed on a video and I was impressed how well it was designed. I was not comfortable with a small composite plate with a tiny footprint on the bow versus this design which has a much larger footprint on the bow carpet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Perfect fit for Terrova motor
Perfect fit for my new Terrova trolling motor. One of the biggest complaints about these new motors on many reviews is the circuit boards crack or go bad. Why would you mount a 1000 dollar plus plastic motor rigid on the bow of your boat? The highway beating pulling the boat to Canada etc. I just retired a 25 year old Minn Kota Genesis that came with a similar mounting plate.
