    Allows the switch controls to be within easy reach of the power packs and operations center, so you aren't running all over the place to get to the switch control, then back to the power pack (transformer), then back to the switch to close it, then back to the power pack again. Puts everything in reach so you can fully enjoy watching your trains in comfort.

    Difficult to connect

    It is a real challenge to connect the switch extension wire to the lead coming from the switch. Too much force is required. I compromised 1 of 9 of my extensions which I could repair. However, a second was ruined, and a third does not work.

    3 leads with connectors

    nice flat wires. with 3 leads, the connectors go between the track (switch) and the switch control,, not the power source. I cut the connectors off that I didn't need.
