Good deal, could be a bit sturdier
I mostly like this grinder stand. Price is good. It's a bit lightweight, so when you turn the grinder on, especially if it's a fairly powerful one like mine, the stand vibrates and starts to rotate, unless it is bolted to he ground. (I don't bolt mine because I like the freedom of moving it around.) Would have given 5 stars if it were a bit sturdier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the money, but not perfect.
In short, I recommend this stand. Its easy to assemble, and lighter than I expected. Seems sturdy and held my grinder with no issues. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the most disappointing thing about it....its height. It is much shorter than I thought it would be and I'm going to have to build something to raise it at least 6". If you're over 6' tall you're going to be bending over a bit when using it. UPDATE: I've used this a bunch now and have downgraded it from 4 to 2 stars due to the stand not being able to secure the grinder very well. When the grinder is on the stand vibrates so much that the entire stand starts to slowly rotate in a circle. I just can't work like that. I had to drill holes in a wooden pallet just to keep it from moving. If I didn't have a pallet I'd have to drill the holes in the garage floor and I really don't want to do that. Pricey but the right solution.
I know you can weld a pipe to a wheel rim, but this is light where it needs to be, heavy where it needs to bw, and can be conveniently stabilized with a well placed foot. They have to remember a lot of times you get what you pay for and sometimes even less. But in this case for the price point the quality is very good the fit and finish her very good the only issue is for me it appears to have been designed so that it's used to be sitting where as I do most of my work standing so it's a little short but that problem is easily solved the top is universal fit so you don't have to worry about going and drilling a bunch of different holes and as a matter of fact I thought about buying a couple more of them to put my belt Sanders on so I could move them around the shop a little easier they don't take up as much room as a four leg stand and I also understand that if it was taller it would tend to be a little less stable but it works well for what I doVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok For The Price.
This is not as heavyweight as is made out in the description. Though it is the cheapest grinder stand so you should not expect it to really be heavyweight. It should be adequate though. The top plate needed a couple of holes added to fit my grinder, which is not really a problem. The hook for hanging your facing tool on is very light plastic and will not last. The tube though is really light gauge, I would like this to have been a little heavier. I’m afraid that tightening the grub screws to secure it to the floor bracket and top plate may simply bend the tube instead of the grub screw biting into it. What I was looking for
This arrived in a huge box! My kitties had a ball with that! The stand was just as described, and easy to assemble. It does creep a bit though when the grinder is running so you may want to put it against a stout wall or mount it to the floor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bench grinder review
Same product as many other units, light weight, moves around a little, could be about 5" -6" taller. Table top is light weight sheet metal not cast or plate steel as some others, but ok. Not impressed...
Easy assembly was nice but it stopped there. Delivery took longer because I had it delivered to my office which USPS would not leave it and they kept coming after hours so I got it three days later than expected. Was advertise Fed Ex but was shipped USPS. Pan head screw for hook snapped off in hole so I had to extract it and re-tap hole. Did not come with rubber feet so those were an additional $20. I will end up using it for something I am sure but not for what it was intended for as I made one over the weekend because I could not wait... Opened box and inspected contents all good packaged well, assembly was easy no problems pedestal and tri pod base made of cast material with metal tube feels sturdy and stable on floor, I bolted down a Wen grinder on the base and feels pretty secure.
