  • Reasonable price makes consistent testing possible

    My wife was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, so managing diet and blood sugar levels has become a necessary part of our already busy lives. The Accu Check Aviva Plus meter was more or less "issued" to her as part of her treatment plan. So far I have been unable to decode the formula of test machine features, accuracy, upfront cost, and test strip cost to find the most affordable way to stay on top of my wife's blood sugar. Meanwhile these test strips, while not yet expired are half the cost of Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart, or Amazon. They have worked well, and have been consistent when used with test solution or back to back with the same blood sample. I believe they are both reasonable and reliable. Thanks.

  • About Accu Chek

    Accu Chek is NOT a generic type test strip. It can only be used on it's own monitor. It is exceedingly expensive because each strip has computer chip in it so that the device can read and store the information. If you need very accurate information in order to closely manage "brittle " control this is the monitoring system for you. If you are only testing once a week and keep a general idea of how your blood sugar is running a less expensive system maybe your choice.

  • A necessity, Average value/price. Supplies limited, get them while you can.

    In my case it is a necessity, I like my Activa meter, unfortunately the VA no longer supplies me with the test strips it uses. So now i have to get them from Ebay. The other thing i find, is you can't find the strips at the Pharmacy, of large retailers. From what i found out, Activa has phased out this meter, and has stopped producing the strips. Here are a few things you have to be aware of: First check the expiration date of the strips, the later the date, the better. Then, make sure the box is Factory sealed, if it is open or looks like it was resealed , Don't buy it! it is not worth getting your body contaminated. Is it a good value, i would it is average, the price i paid is what you see at retail. Supplies are limited, better get them while they last, which might be another 18 month's, then it is time to transition to another meter. ;

  • Fantastic

    Absolutely fantastic. The price is more than fair considering they are still non expired. These do have a shelf life of 5-6 months after expiration date under optimum conditions (no exposure to excessive heat temperatures, no extreme light exposure, etc) Whenever you get stuck without strips, getting them here (even expired) its definitely your best bet. Otherwise be ready to unpocket between $36 - $60 for one box of 50 strips!!! It's a ridiculous and unnecessary waste of money.

  • Best quality,very fast shipping

    These strips are highly accurate and much more reliable than cheaper ones (think CVS and Walgreens ). Dept of Veterans Affairs uses them. Aviva the best. Cvs meter and strips very very inaccurate.

  • Perfect product at a fantastic price

    Came quickly in factory sealed boxes. Somewhat near expire dates but for the great price the price is wonderful. The date is not a problem as I will for sure use them before they expire. I figure I save $30! These days saving anything is a good thing!

  • Strips work great with Aviva Nano

    It's hard to find these strips as now there are newer versions of the glucometer that uses them. These arrived and work fine with the aviva nano.
