Lifesaver For My Beaded Bracelets
I wanted to make some beaded crochet bracelets for Christmas presents and was afraid the yarn was too thick to fit through the beads. These worked better than I expected! They are VERY fine and I wonder if they'll last with much use. I probably could have gone up a thickness or two but I'm sure these will last for as much as I intend to use them. Not for me.
I have never used beading needles before and they are not for me. Too flimsy and just bent up out of shape. Maybe I don't know how to use them correctly, but I did better just using the beading wire and not using the needle. Tried it with the magic stretch string also and had the same results. The Beadalon needles work as they should
They are ok, but did not work for me. The claims were that they would work with the smaller seed beads and small pearls, but the needle did not go through the small holes and bent easily. Needle
The needle is extremely flexible. I used it for a bead loom bracelet. I went back to using a regular bead needle because it bent and couldn’t be straightened . The only thing I liked about it was the needle eye is large and easy to thread.

Collapsible Eye Needles are the only ones, I found, which will penetrate small/uneven hole pearls, corral, and other stones, which other needles can't penetrate.
