This is a great smart lock!
I like that you can use multiple different codes as well as a regular key to unlock the door. Also, the alarm feature is a nice touch, and the auto-lock is a lifesaver! It works fine on its own, but when paired with a Wink smart hub it is even smarter! I can unlock it via phone, check the locked/unlocked status when I am out of the house, and easily add or remove codes. The only complaint I have is that the lock cannot detect when the door is open or closed, so it will auto-lock if left open and then when someone tries to close the door it hits the door frame because the lock is engaged. It would be better if it had some kind of sensor to detect if the door is open or closed. All in all though, this is an excellent lock!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Schlage Touchscreen Deadbolt
The unit is functional independent of the Z wave (wifi type wireless network for home devices, ie locks, lights, thermostats, etc) but to utilize the this units best features, you are required to subscribe to a monthly service in addition to the purchase price. you can utilize Samsung's "smartSense Zwave network at no cost but its wireless features and smart phone app only provide "lock" and "unlock". 4x AA batteries last less than a month which seems to be another hidden expense not realized until after the purchase is made. Smart locks are still expensive, but they work well as long as you get one with Z-Wave smart hub connectivity.
This is the Schlage lock you want if you want to control it with industry standard hubs like Wink or the Samsung hub. This lock is easy to install and use. You can open with your smart phone, keypad, or oldschool keys. Also since it interfaces with Z-Wave devices it can integrate with your smart home devices. The lock is a little noisy when it locks/unlocks, but it is kind of nice to have confirmation of the operation. A neat thing: Our pet care person needed to be able to access our home, but I forgot to set a key code. I was able with the Wink smart phone app to remotely program a custom keycode so they could get in the house. Cool stuff. WARNING: Don't by the Schlage Sense lock! The Sense lock looks exactly the same as the Connect lock but only works with bluetooth (no Z-Wave WTF?), and then only with it's app, which will then only work with Apple Home or Google Assistant, NOT with standard smart home hubs. Easy to install and it has a self locking mechanism.
I absolutely LOVE my lock! This lock is such a conveinence to me. So I work full-time and I go to school full-time, so my hands are constantly full. I HATE having to dig in my purse to locate my keys because I stupidly placed my keys back into my purse when I get out of my car and get ready to head towards my front door. Now I don't have to dig around in my purse to hunt for my lost keys that had fell deep down in the abyss that is my purse. I press in my passcode and go about my business. Now you can set it to automatically lock after 30 secs of the door being unlocked, which is a great feature to have. You can shut the door and walk to your car and not have to worry about whether or not you locked your door, because the door will lock itself after 30 seconds. BUT again YOU have to program it to do that. Another great feature that I like is it beeps when the door is closed and it beeps when there is something that hits close to the door. I like it because I can hear if someone walks into my house. So having that alarm beep is a very good feature to have so you can hear someone walking into your home. Love it!
Never need a key again. You program a 4 digit number to open your door. You can program many different codes for different people that may need to get in. You can also program the lock to automatically lock 30 seconds after you close the door. It also has audible alarms that can be programmed. It does not have the wifi option but the next one we get will in order to be able to open the door from anywhere in the country using your smart phone. Schlage makes great quality locks. As far as the installation is concerned you must make sure to follow the directions. Its a little different then a standard door lock installation. If you have the right tools and follow the template carefully I would rate it a 5-6 in terms of difficultness . If your not handy you might want to hire a professional to help you out. Key less Entry
Bought this for my Front Door, Love the Action, but the Auto lock feature can be a little annoying, Found my closing the door while the Deadbolt was full extended and put dents in the Door trim. Wish Schlage would create a Sensor for when the Door is closed then Actuate the Dead bolt. But oh well,m It works really Good. Cant go wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent lock with seamless inegration with my z-wave system.
Needed this to connect to a z-wave system and the result was a good fit with my new system. As far a simple keyless entry lock preforms well also. Simple install into the existing door opening with enough options to fit just about any normal door. The code entry works flawlessly and would perfect for anybody just wanting a keyless lock. Adding the z-wave home automation into the mix allow for remote monitoring of the lock status from my cell phone and remote lock/unlock of my door. The z-wave system also allow me to change the codes remotely and see which codes have been used recently. The Schlage BE 469WK V CAM 619 looks good and works as advertised. You have to buy a Wink Hub to work it with your Wi/Fi but consider other things that can be monitored and controlled with the Hub. The installation of the lock was easy and the quality very good.
