With a 250 GB capacity, you can store as many video games, apps, movies, photos, and documents as you could ever need. The SATA I interface allows you to plug the hard disk on your computer when it is off and when it is on as well. Boasting a 7,200 RPM spindle speed, this 3.5-inch SATA drive boosts the speed of reading and writing data. It also speeds up the process of accessing and retrieving external data, with a transfer rate of up to 300 Mbps while a seek time of only 11 seconds means rapid synchronizing with your computer, further shortening the time between installation and access to your files. A buffer size of 8 MB makes tasks such as audio recording smooth. To top it all, the Barracuda is quiet, thanks to its low sound emission of 30 dB.
