Wonderful Playing
I'm not usually a Masur fan, but the orchestral playing was of the highest quality. Accardo's playing was also very fine.

Fine performances, CDs in mint condition
I wanted Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1. That signature Bruch piece remains my favorite, but I have listened with interest to the other pieces in this two-CD set, including the famous Scottish fantasies, and will do so again. The performances (Salvatore Accardo/Kurt Masur) are very fine, the CDs are in flawless condition, and the little informational insert is intact. The case is cracked, but who cares?
