Delicate, but The Only Speakers I Use
I have owned at least twelve sets of these in the last eight years. They are delicate. Their sensitive volume control allows for a finer-tuned (and quieter) setting than television or computer monitors generally do. I attach these speakers to both tvs and monitors with a twenty-five-foot audio cable, and then hook earbuds or headsets to their jack, to block out ambient sounds while I work or for bedtime "white noise." I don't know why the speakers are short-lived, but my experience has been that they last six-to-eight months, tops. Very disappointing..
I would have expected these speakers to have a relatively good sound after I have good experience with more expensive, but also similar Logitech products. Good quality, rugged design. Ok for voice. Sound quality is poor. Price is great.
Speakers are well made, compact and have heavy wires that won't break. Power supply is internal so nothing hanging off the wall. Sound is cheap but these are cheap speakers so don't expect much. They are fine for voice audio and previewing music. If you want deep rich bass and quality sound you will need to spend more money. Wonderful set of speakers! They don't get to terribly loud, and there's not much bass, but they are of good quality, and accomplish what I need. These obviously aren't the highest quality speakers, but I paid $10 and for that price I think they work well for basic usage. If you want great sounding music, then these aren't for you. Amazing sound from small, inexpensive speakers
I was using an older set of JBL speakers that the subwoofer went bad on. Band-aid speakers
These speakers are a "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" deal. but they are worth it. They sound okay for the most part, if your not working too far away from them. I had an old pair of BOSTON speakers about 15 years old, so I bought these for a quick fix and am surprised at how well they sound.
