    Great English Comedy

    All five films in the Alec Guiness collection are examples of superb droll English comedy of the 1950s. On display in every movie is the outstanding acting ability of Sir Alec Guiness. In the film entitled "Kind Hearts and Coronets" Mr. Guiness plays no less than eight characters! If you enjoy cleverly written, directed and engaging British humor you will find this collection of film quite satifsying.

    Classic British comedies all in one package!

    I always looked forward to seeing these Alec Guinness comedies when they show up on TV, but some haven't come up in years. "LadyKillers" and "The Lavender Hill Mob" show quite infrequently, so I was glad to see this five movie collection listed at a quite reasonable price, with speedy delivery. The collection is of high quality--and I was surprised at the color rendition (I'd remembered them being in black and white).
