Love this iced coffee maker! Use it everyday. Easy to use and clean. Would like to have an extra filter but it only comes with one and i haven't been able to find anywhere that you can buy them seperately. Instructions say 12-24 hrs for brewing. I usually go 12 hrs max. 24 hrs is overkill. I couldn't really tell the difference when i went 24 hrs. Instructions also state to use 12-14 scoops of coffee. That is definetly overkill. Darn Good
Excellent product. I haven't stopped using mine since it got here. My old Cuisinart served me well for 10 years. Now I am freeing up counter space by using this cold brewer which easily fits in the refrigerator door. The best tasting coffee I have ever wrapped my lips around. No question about it. I have bought everything from Jamaican Blue Mt. to Civet Coffee searching for the perfect bean, but it really makes little difference compared to the brewing method. This brewer is the best reviewed product in it's price range and I have not been disappointed. I thought it was going to be a little bit bigger but it makes right a 32 oz per batch. I fill it up, set it in the fridge door and forget it until tomorrow. Super cool gift for anyone who must have the best cup of coffee. It usually holds 3 large cups of cold coffee with ice. Just takes a couple minutes to grind beans and add to carafe with water and stick in fridge. I let it steep 24 hours and 3 more days worth of cold coffee drinks. So much more refreshing in summer than hot coffee and I've cut out cold soda. Great and simple design.
