Nintendo's signature series returns to its side-scrolling roots with many levels, power-ups, and a host of multiplayer modes in New Super Mario Bros. Wii Players choose to guide Mario, Luigi, or two versions of Toad through a variety of colorful worlds on another quest to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser. As always, the game worlds are filled with pitfalls and enemies, but players can fight back thanks to the ice flower, which allows them to hurl snowballs, the propeller mushroom, which lets gamers float through the air, and the penguin suit, which provides surer footing in icy environments. The game makes use of a classic Super Mario Bros. control scheme, though propeller-suit actions and the spin jump incorporate the Wii Remote's motion sensitivity. Multiplayer action comes in both competitive and cooperative forms, letting up to four gamers interact with the environment and one another in a variety of helpful or hurtful ways.

LOVE New Super Mario Bros. Wii!!! ;--0
I absolutely LOVE playing New Super Mario Bros Wii!!! It takes me back a bit to when I'd used to play Super Mario Bros. 3- or whichever one I'd be playing- on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Except of course, in my opinion- the graphics are so much better & I love the Wii anyways!!! It's very similar to some of the other Mario Bros. games, except w' new items- like the Propellor Suit & Penguin Suit. Also, Super Guide w' Luigi- when you need the help on a tough course- is very nice. Overall- this game is SO wonderful & fun & very much exceeds my expectations. Thanks very much again & please take care!!!

Perfection
Nintendo has a knack for making games SO polished, they're just fun no matter how you look at them. Some people might be jaded about it, but the Mario series deserves some respect for being one of the longest-running and most successful gaming series' in the history of mankind. (I really don't know; I just made that up... But it sounds good, right?) This particular installment really caught my attention. It's like playing all of he old side-scrolling platform Mario games, but with gorgeous graphics, brilliant sound and super slick gameplay. The worlds are very clever and pretty, the enemies are quirky and challenging, and the overall game is simply addictive. If you are new to the Mario franchise, this is as good a place to start as any!

ONE OF THR BEST MARIO BROS. GAMES!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this New Super Mario Bros. game and we haven't stopped playing since it arrived! 2 people can play together without a split screen which is a much nicer way to play multiple people! I also love that you have the option of just using the controller by itself or with the nunchuck which makes learning to control the movea and powers quick. I give this a 10 out of 10 and a must have for us Mario lovers and anyone who loves a fun yet challenging game!!!

Just as what I Expected
It's a preowned game but it's actually in Great Condition when it arrived. Also my siblings and my nephew loves playing this game a lot. I borrowed my cousin's copy 10 years ago and played it at home. Man that one of the greatest 4 Player Game to play with family and friends. This is one of the Wii Games I must have and it arrived fast. Thank You.

This game is so great! Reminiscent of the original Mario Bros games, but all-new levels and unexpected encounters, making it challenging, but fun to play! The multi-player options are so awesome! You can play with up to four players on the same screen at the same time. I also love the coin battle levels! The game has the continue option like the original NES Mario Bros 3, so if you get a game over you can just continue from in the same world, not having to start the whole game over. I also love all the new types of power ups! I am very happy with this game. It is my new favorite!

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Finished playing the first and second Super Mario Galaxy games, as well as Super Mario Sunshine, so I ordered a copy of this. Very fun! The 2.5-D gameplay makes it an interesting and enjoyable experience, paying homage to the older 2-D Super Mario games. Would recommend buying a copy of this.

A Modern Classic
New Super Mario Bros Wii is almost 15 years old and holds up very well. The music with enemies dancing to it and making an very memorable experience. Back in the day I wasn't sure it would hold up well like the nes and snes mario games. However having played through it again this year I can say time has been very kind and it holds up great. A true blue must play wii game.

Another fun Mario game
This game is really fun to play and the kids just love it. Doesn't take long to get on to the controls and gameplay through levels is random unlike old versions of Mario. Graphics are good but cartoon good, not like newer life like war games. All around great game for everyone in the family. Recommended

Great game for all ages!
Arrived earlier than expected, had more scratches than I thought however it worked fine. My family and I play it everyday. When the kids fell asleep my wife and I stayed up playing it until 1 a.m. and we can't stop playing it or wanting to. Reminds me of Super Mario World on Super Nintendo but new age. Very addictive and fun for all ages!

My 7 year old son loves this game!
