Not specific to the BMW X3 e83
You will need to modify this. I shaved down its long edge with Dremel. Also had to remove an existing bulb mechanism from the vehicle. I've give 5 stars because the quality is excellent and the finished install (not difficult) looks and works as it should for the BM. The camera itself is a little beauty that produces a good picture.
