Works fine for phones BUT NOT FOR MACBOOK PRO
This adapter seems to "block" the charging functionality when used with a Macbook (Pro). I had expected a straight through adapter that allows connecting two regular USB Type C cords in series between the power adapter and the laptop but it does not work at all. The laptop simply does not see the power cord connected.
