    compatability

    The gas cap was suppose to fit my 2008 Ford Ranger but it didn't. It wasn't worth sending it back so I just transferred the gasket from the new one to the old one. It fixed the problem. To bad they just don't sell the gasket.

    Motorcraft FC961 Gascap

    According to the Compatibility Chart provided the gas cap should fit a 2005 Ford Mustang V6. But, it did not. My gas pipe had two notches. The gas cap sent had three notches, which of course did not fit. Buyers need to be aware of difference.
