Not Bad, I have an older MSI Board (AM2) and this is a great step up from a 6000+
I've been satisfied with the processor, I also have hundreds of computers and most of them are faster but all in all a good Chip. I had considered the Phenom x3 chip at the time, I think it may be a better CPU. I also could not find one while looking. Hardest Part was upgrading an old MSI board to the newest BIOS. I would buy one again, and now the prices are getting lower so maybe a bulk buy depending on my needs. I still give it 5 stars, it can't help that it is a little older. Mostly painless. Ultimately would recommend.
Sale was smooth. Delivery was a little delayed, but it was close enough to Christmas that I blame that on the USPS. Packaging was sufficient. The only complained I really have is that a few pins were bent enough to make installation a little stressful. It ultimately is a working processor and it was clean. Same performance as phenom ii x4 945
Works fine in windows 10 or debian linux. Upgraded a close to 10 year old computer that had a x3 triple core processor. I think it is just a so-called business class cpu which is the same as the phenom ii x4 945. Same cpu different label. Runs at same 95 watts as x4 945. The 955 requires 125 watts which under load might run a bit hotter. Heatsink fans are not real big and fancy on these cpus compared to newer processors so I like this processor as a sweet spot for temperature load. Great for its age.
This is an old AMD processor, as such it does have better processors that use the same product, but for all that this product works great and does not ha e any issues that I've come across.
