    This was a gift for my son and his wife.

    My son, in another state, and his wife have sort of gone off the grid, in that they do not have cable or satellite, and I knew this was one of the series he liked. They received this in excellent time, and are pleased with having it. Like me, when they enjoy watching a program or reading a book, they do so often, so this will continue to be an ongoing gift. I have never seen it, so I cannot go into details, but I have a son of few words and when he says he really liked it, that was enough for me! I can honestly say that it was a good purchase and I think he may decide to purchase more in future.

    Farscape : unique and worthy of any sci-fi fan's collection

    Farscape is an interesting sci-fi series for a variety of reasons. First, it engages the viewer with a kaleidoscope of characters that are in a constant state of conflict but must work together to survive. Second, while the CGI is a little dated it holds up very well, unlike some other older science fiction shows. Third, the unique dynamic of the living ship in which the characters inhabit adds another dimension to the already fascinating tale which is Farscape. While this series is not for everyone ( it's Australian and there are several muppet characters) it is without question an incredible achievement in the annals of sci-fi and fantasy. Any person who enjoys a good fictional tale will find it very engaging indeed !

    I had to buy the Blu ray edition!

    I love this series. Other reviews are better at explaining this series than I am. But, I like all of the characters even Rigel (the selfish toad on a floating throne), and the story premise, which makes for a lot of story craziness.

    Great series

    If you like space traveling/alien shows this is a great series to watch. The characters are fantastic and each have unique personalities that are fun to watch. Each of the episodes are stand alone but also add to the story-line of the show. The makeup is done very well and the special effects are pretty good also. There is quite a bit of humor thrown in. I like how they replace some English words with alien words but make it obvious as to what the words are. There is also a mini series that completes the story-line. If you don't watch the mini series you won't like the ending.
