Only use original manufacturers mount pads
I prefer to use the original manufactures replacement sticky pads, I have tried third party replacements once, the CrashCan kept falling off due to the heat of the windscreen

Amazing value
These double sided tape patches are perfect to attach your camera to the front windshield. The rear camera can also be held up , you just need to trim one of these patches down a bit and then your good as gold.
