Fun project with good results
This is a fun project that will yield fine results with a bit of patience and care. I did not use a construction grade 2x4, however. Instead I laminated pieces of walnut and ash to make a tad higher end 2x4. "Fret" lines were made by inlaying spruce and/or various bits of guitar edge banding. Finished with instrument grade lacquer. Tuned to an open G for now.

Great instructions
I haven't made it yet as I'm working on making a good body for it. But the instructions are in a large format making it super easy for someone my age to be able to read. Everything is well laid out. Will enjoy building it.
