Upon disassembling the set, a few minor issues were discovered. The four dark red flags used for the cannon portholes and the reddish brown steering wheel appear to be discolored. No other pieces seem to have this discoloration.

Nostalgia in a box
I had this set growing up and donated it during my rebellious teenager phase, but as an adult I realized the value of this set and was so happy when I found a brand new, never opened set at a good price. I won't make the mistake of letting this one go and hope to nurture this hobby of Lego building.

Important piece missing
The LEGO was not complete and missing pieces. One of the pieces missing was the upper deck, an important piece. A bit disappointing. It was shipped quickly, though.
