Basic and only basic GPS
If you want a basic function GPS, this one is OK. I should have done my homework before purchasing and was disappointed to learn this unit does not accept routes programmed on your computer. The only routes it will follow are the ones that it self generate and that is often useless for my preferences. If you are looking to plan out a scenic vacation route on your computer using the excellent free Garmin Basecamp maps, be sure the GPS you select is compatible. Garmin keeps it real
The nuvi the first 660 for campers, trucks and cars is a great little device. I drive a truck and this gets me where I need to go. The voice navigation is great and changeable.
