First released in 2005, the LEGO Star Wars Episode III Clone Turbo Tank makes a great addition to any LEGO Star Wars diorama. With 801 total pieces, this battle droid set can be completed by anyone age 9 and up. The 7621-1 set includes a figurine of Jedi Master Mace Windu with a light-up lightsaber while the 7621-2 set released in 2006 contains a regular Mace Windu figurine. This set also includes six other minifigures, including four Clone Troopers of different ranks and two Battle Droids. The troopers include a Star Corps Trooper and a Clone Trooper. A Clone Scout Trooper rides a BARC speeder and a Clone Aerial Trooper has his own jet pack. The 2006 7621-2 set includes an additional Clone Trooper armed with a blaster. This set is easy to incorporate into any Star Wars collection or displays focusing on the "Revenge of the Sith" film. With hatches that can open and close, an interior that can hold a small army of minifigures, and working tires, this set will have the evil Sith cowering in their boots.As an addition to the Clone Wars toys collection, the LEGO Clone turbo tank is similar to an AT-AT with wheels. The fully constructed HAV/w A6 Juggernaut has 10 large wheels and 4 axles. For even more realistic play, this tank has a working suspension and can be used on rough terrain. The suspension on the LEGO Clone Turbo Tank allows the piece to roll onto both sides at a 45-degree angle. The sturdy body has access plates to allow you to easily open up the cockpits on either end, the engine, and the troop bay. There is also an adjustable crow's nest. Each included weapon can be posed with the figures.In addition to a cockpit and spine-mounted turret, the dual-mounted heavy blast cannons in the front and the rear prepare this vehicle to go into enemy formations and bring Star Wars adventures to life. Uniquely designed with an adjustable lookout post on the rear, this Star Wars LEGO Clone set also comes with a stationary turret and E-Web style turret. The included BARC speeder comes with a light green BARC Scout Trooper to ride it. This turbo tank gunship can be paired in battle with many other Star Wars LEGO or Star Wars Clone Wars toys. You can incorporate additional battle droids, clone troopers, an X-wing speeder, or other characters from The Republic or the Galactic Empire. You can also add in your favorite droid minifigures to recreate the Battle of Kashyyyk or the First Battle of Felucia, or you might pull Anakin Skywalker into the mix for an epic fight.Step-by-step instructions are included with the box to help you put together the Turbo Tank from an assortment of Technic and classic bricks designed by The LEGO Group. It's very good
I was very pleased with what I recieved. For $80, you get the full turbo tank but no minifigures which is pretty much a given for the price. The speeder is not included and neither is the turret but overall, the nostalgia does make it worth it. You can add your own clones into the set and it does offer a lot more space for troop transport than the other two Turbo Tanks do. A little bit disappointed from the "no minifigures" thing but affordable versions can be found on bricklink. The turbo tank is in very well condition and works like advertised. I would recommend this set for those who want a lot of space for troop transport. The play features though are a little dumbed down but that's just because of the time it was made. The quality was not what I was hoping for...
What can I say about the product.. well first off, I guess I got what was in the picture so I will give a star for that. The shipping was also amazingly fast so I will give another star for that. The product itself was in pretty bad condition and it fell apart during shipping. I’m guessing the pictures were from an earlier time period because the product was completely covered in dust and a little dirt than what was shown in the picture. The biggest thing that I am mad about is that the turbo had melted pieces from burning! I don’t like how the caretaker of the product did not specify the quality of the product and how he did not take care of it. I am kind of happy that I was able to get this set before it was completely ruined. I was able to find replacement pieces for the burned ones and washed the whole set, so now it is being treasured by a true LEGO collector.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
