    Works as expected

Used in my canon F1 which requires a 1.3 v battery. Used a silver oxide sr43 1.55v and this 1. Made it fit and 2. Brought the voltage down to required. Pleasure using the built in meter and the pictures were properly exposed

    Expensive simple converter

It’s a simple and nice converter but, it doesn’t work for all cameras. Check for your camera before you buy. I had a problem with my Leitz Minolta CL not, being so accurate. Canon F1’s and Olympus Om-1 are all good using this method...

  • Worked like a charm!

I’d been looking for a battery for this camera for a long time, and when it arrived, inserting the battery into this adapter was super easy and once it was in the camera, the light meter started reading. Shipping was super fast too!

  • Essential for cameras requiring MR9, PX13 or PX625 batteries.

It does exactly what is supposed to do. It allows the use of the very common SR-43 / 386 battery in cameras that require a 1.35v mercury oxide MR9, PX13 or PX625 battery. It does this not only by adapting the shape of the battery, but also by lowering the 1.5v of the 386 to 1.35v.

  • Does the job well but is pricey.

Cheaper than getting someone to modify a vintage camera and makes an Olympus OM1 lighter function accurately with 1.5v battery. However, it is a little thicker than a normal battery adapter so the battery cover doesn't shut flush to the camera base. Glad I got it but expensive for so little tech. If you have decent electronics know how you could probably make one.....I understand the circuitry but my soldering is terrible :)

  • An adapter which adapts the size and, more importantly, the voltage of modern batteries to work in older cameras.

This adapter allows me to use modern batteries that are 1.55V with my older film cameras which require a mercury 1.35 battery, which are no longer made. The electronics do no operate accurately if I were to use a 1.55V battery without the adapter. There are cheaper "adapters" which allow modern batteries to fit into the battery compartment but do not adjust the voltage and so light meters do not indicate the correct settings.

  • Making old cameras alive!

It makes all old camera's meterings and Flashlights alive again! Easy to use and very reliable! I use it on my Leica M5 and Olympus 35RC film cameras. Before using this product, the meterings on these 2 camera are suck! But now, while using this, I have the correct metering! Just love it!

  • Battery adapter works great for old Minolta SLR

The battery adapter worked great in an old 35mm Minolta SLR. I also used a battery tester to check the voltage with the adapter and a Silver Oxide battery. It reduced the voltage from 1.5v to 1.3v as required.

  • Great little tool for older devices.

This very well in my vintage cameras needing reduced voltage as they were designed to use the old mercury batteries no longer available.

  • Fits perfectly in my Minolta SRT101 film...

Fits perfectly in my Minolta SRT101 film camera. Seems to have the proper voltage for the light meter when compared with an iPhone light meter app.
