Expensive simple converter

Essential for cameras requiring MR9, PX13 or PX625 batteries.
It does exactly what is supposed to do. It allows the use of the very common SR-43 / 386 battery in cameras that require a 1.35v mercury oxide MR9, PX13 or PX625 battery. Does the job well but is pricey.
Cheaper than getting someone to modify a vintage camera and makes an Olympus OM1 lighter function accurately with 1.5v battery. However, it is a little thicker than a normal battery adapter so the battery cover doesn't shut flush to the camera base. Glad I got it but expensive for so little tech. An adapter which adapts the size and, more importantly, the voltage of modern batteries to work in older cameras.
This adapter allows me to use modern batteries that are 1.55V with my older film cameras which require a mercury 1.35 battery, which are no longer made. The electronics do no operate accurately if I were to use a 1.55V battery without the adapter. There are cheaper "adapters" which allow modern batteries to fit into the battery compartment but do not adjust the voltage and so light meters do not indicate the correct settings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Battery adapter works great for old Minolta SLR
