Coffee grinding may be tricky
Awesome machine. You can grind your own coffee and also prepare espressos, americanos and capuccinos. I dont know if I got a deffective machine or maybe I am not an expert on handling it but I had one single issue with it. When I started grinding my own coffee, I could not find a setting fine enough that the machine could actually work under pressure and I would not achieve an espresso pressure setting. I had to calibrate the grinder inside the machine which is not normal coming straight from the manufacturer. I finally with that calibration was able to achieve pressures high enough to reach to the gray zone. I have contacted them and they sent me some troubleshooting tips which I am still trying. Good consistent espresso with one flaw
makes a good consistent cup of espresso and is easy to use. My only gripe is that the stainless steel portafilter basket (the metal coffee ground holder) sticks to the group head on the machine and does not remain in its portafilter handle, making it necessary to "dig" the portafilter off of the machine every time you brew an espresso. The handle should have been designed with a tighter friction lock on the portafilter basket so it won't separate from the handle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Feed your 'feine addiction... Does a great job
I make a great espresso with this machine. It's pricey, however I get consistent brews once properly dialled in. You want high quality, well this does it. Only super gripe I have, the new style bean hopper up top is a pain in the behind to try and fit under cupboards! Breville!?!
