Exceptional value
I have been using silva compasses for 35 years, this is my first mirror compass. To start with it’s $70 cheaper than the Suunto equivalent, yet has all the same features including built in inclinometer and comes with a contour conversion card. Overall an excellent compass that represents exceptional value for money. The only criticism I’ve heard from other reviews is the north, south, east and west markers can be hard to see on the bezel, this really does not matter as this type of compass is designed to show numerical degrees.the new lanyard also has 4 map scales ie. 25:100 50:100 etc. very handy.
