Design flaws undermine solid construction
There are three problems with the unit: 1. The flush is weak and hard to pump 2. The centre hole is quite small requiring accurate positioning for successful management of solid waste, which is its most important function. Any miss is unlikely to be handled by the weak flushing action. 3. The seat is ridiculously small, the flat on the sides being less than one inch wide at the middle. You will tend to sink into the bowl unless you have larger than average hips. Other than those critical issues, the construction is solid and the seals seem of good quality. A few design changes could make this a great product. It is functional and all the other units I have seen look like they have much the same design so for the price it is a good emergency unit, but I wouldn't want to have to have to use it for extended periods.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Mobility Aid for the elderly.
This was bought for my elderly mother to use in her bedroom for the night time. It works great and beats emptying a toilet chair pan every morning. It is an easy empty and no spill.
