Different design to the original.
The new design is so much better than the original. It is very quiet when running and so much better to have the cord from the water pump... plug into another cord that runs to the transformer. The original set up had the cord from the water pump plug directly into the transformer... we found that the cord often popped out and flow of water would stop. Poor kitty.

Happy but different
The product is good but is slightly different to the orignal water pump that came with my catit system when I bought it, so trying to get the water to flow out took a little bit of tinkering to work. Also this one did not have a little control switch on it to determine the amount of pressure that the water is pumping.

Broke after 3 weeks of use
This pump stopped working after only three weeks. Not a great product. We have used other power supplies to prove that it’s the pump and not the power supply.
