Absolutely amazing little speaker for the price!!
The first thing you'll see when you take it out of the boxes it's absolutely beautiful little speaker. The attention to detail an overall quality is very good. as soon as you turn it on you can tell immediately this is not your average Bluetooth speaker. I've had a few Bluetooth speakers and I've listened to a lot, if you're only looking at price and not size... As far as the sound quality coming out of the Marshall with separate volume, bass and treble dials you can't go wrong plus you could sync it with your phone to answer calls and ours also plug other devices into it using a headphone jack. As far as pairing with your phone as soon as you turn on the Stockwell it's connected before you can even push play. You can't really compare similar Bluetooth speakers by price because the Stockwell is just miles ahead in pretty much every area. It's a little heavy but it's got a 25 hour battery life and you can plug your phone into the back and charge it while you're listening so it just depends what you're after. All in all I love this speaker and it's almost hard to put in order a list of its positive qualities without having trouble deciding which one goes first second third fourth... I think for me first is sound quality and tunability, second is the overall quality of the speaker itself, third would be the awesome battery life and I could use it as a power source to charge other devices. I really hate to put this one last because the design, workmanship and overall appearance of this beautiful little speaker are just outstanding. Big punch from a small box!
No regrets with this purchase. This BT speaker sounds great which is no surprise coming from the makers of quality soundstage equipment. It has plenty of bass and carries it well for a small speaker. The treble could be improved somewhat for a better "hi" tone but overall, still satisfying. It appears to be well constructed and has a nice, clean quality look. Battery life is top notch too as it will last for several hours of enjoyment. I am highly impressed and pleased with this Marshall BT speaker and would definitely purchase again! Also the shipping time was inside of a week so that was very nice as well. If you're considering this purchase, don't give it a second thought. Marshall Excellence!!!!
The first song I played thru this little beast was ' Beyond The Black ' off Metal Churchs first album ...it CRUSHED !!!!!!! The one reviewer spot on- if ur gonna stream thru Bluetooth u have to set ur phone at 65-75% and than let the Marshall do the dirty work!!!!!! If your not familiar with this song - look it up and stream it thru ANYTHING and keep pets away ( can melt a dogs face into a furry goop of madness!!!!!!) ...that being said - buy this speaker and play it LOUD and wash the worlds troubles away!!!!......great job Marshall - very impressed. Only 1 drawback is that you cannot run it off a rechargeable battery source , that would have made this a 10star review (maybe next years model).... Lacking somewhat in treble, but overall a powerful beast!
Awesome product! This Stockwell has excellent volume and beats the Bose color hands down! It has 2 - 4" woofers, 20w of power and can last up to 25 hours on the battery which is also user replaceable if it ever dies. Excellent bass, but lacking in treble without any tweeters, but I run the treble all the way up and it's not bad at all. Pop up and lock down buttons are a nice addition also. Can connect by bluetooth or 3.5mm aux input. It does not come with a manual, but is easily downloaded from Marshall's site. One thing that is a huge issue to mention. In the manual it states to hold down on power button for one second to turn on or off - FALSE! Hold it until it actually makes a sound to turn on or off, which takes 4-5 seconds. I actually believed it to be defective until I discovered this issue, and the manual won't help you. Led light will pulse up and down in brightness when charging and go out completely when fully charged. Overall, for it's price point this puppy is a full grown beast!!!

This speaker has great sound. Very loud, and excellent sound quality. My only complaint is that I failed to understand that it is a fixed location speaker that must be plugged in. This thing rocks...
Highly impressed with this release from Marshall. Not just the sound quality, but the fit and finish. For the price, I don't think there's a better portable bluetooth speaker on the market. Its looks are matched by its performance, and then some. Listening to it as I write this, I'm trying to find its flaws. If there is anything I could call a flaw, it's in bass heavy music, with the bass turned all the way up, you may get a bit of distortion. I listen to rock and metal, and had no issues. Other than that, it's a dsmn good speaker, in looks and performance..

I love the look of this thing...am a big multi unit owning bluetooth speaker guy... would have loved to have seen one of their bigger units, but for what I paid, am quite happy with the sound, the value of this unit. I wish that it had a battery option, but given the stated power, probably that wouldn't work well.
